Anna Reeves

Anna Reeves is the proud mother of three young ladies. A former kindergarten teacher, she is the self-made entrepreneur and founder of Tiny Chefs.  Anna wears several hats: Franchisor, Yogi, spirit junkie and budding inspirational coach for young women.  She strives to be a positive influence on “all women who crave change and to discover their authentic truth.”

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

Mom of three beautiful souls; Becca age 8, Tori age 8, and Sofia age 10.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?

Former kindergarten teacher and tutor. I love serving children and families in the form of inspiring and empowering people to be their best version of themselves. Whether that be in the form of exploration with food, to working and collaborating in groups to create dishes, to coming together as a family to cook and spend quality time together.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?

TTT in Arlington, Rasika in Penn Quarter, Estadio in DC.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?

Since 2004.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

JC Owne- friend.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

Thailand; to see a world that would be completely new and different.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

A Bronx Tale.

Q: What advice would you give to people?

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?

Launch my non-profit.

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?

Bethesda Salt Cave.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

Tony Robbins. Just to sit and absorb his energy and positivity and drive. City Center- Fig and Olive.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

Diversity in and accessibility to restaurants.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

250 franchisees; 15-20 coaching clients; non-profit.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?

I have tons of tattoos.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?

Greece.

Month: March, as it’s my birthday. Holiday: Christmas because the world stops for a moment. Best day on the calendar, March 2nd.
